EARLY CANCER CONFIRMATION TEST

what is ivygene?

The IvyGene technology is owned by Laboratory for Advanced Medicine. LAM is a biomedical laboratory, specializing in revolutionary new technology, focused on the early intervention and detection of cancer. LAM was founded with a mission to take cancer from a life-threatening disease to a manageable illness, that can eventually be cured. By keeping testing available and affordable for everyone, LAM strives to change the status quo on reactive cancer prevention and detection, to a proactive approach.

The company has CLIA and CAP certified laboratories, and cGMP facilities working towards bringing first-class technologies to the medical community. LAM operates globally with collaborations in the United States and China, including leading scientists, physicians, research institutions, and business leaders.

The company is headquartered in the United States with offices in California, Texas, and Indiana. In China, the company has offices in Beijing, Guangzhou and Bei Dai He.

The IvyGene Platform utilizes advanced sequencing techniques to analyze DNA Methylation patterns of cell-free DNA (cfDNA) in whole blood. The sequence along with the pattern of methylated DNA are consistent with cancer presence. This gives providers and patients access to important data regarding the health of patients at the time of testing.

The IvyGene series of testing may confirm the presence of cancer, as early as stage 1, and provide measurable information about cancer. New commercial tests provide tissue-specific cancer confirmation; the IvyGene Liver test is commercially available with breast and colon specific tests in the pipeline of development.

Unlike many genetic tests that use DNA to determine the propensity or possibility of developing cancer over time, the IvyGene test identifies DNA methylation patterns consistent with actual disease presence at the time of testing.
